Last updated: 29 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Homoepathic Essentials Ltd website and to purchases made through our online store. Please read them before placing an order. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
Homoepathic Essentials Ltd is a United Kingdom based business offering homeopathic products, supplements and related wellness products online. Our current business contact details are shown on the Contact Us page and, where applicable, in the website footer.
2. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful personal or business purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, interfere with the website or use its content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, images, sizes, ingredients, prices and availability accurate. Packaging, labels or appearance may occasionally differ from website images, particularly where manufacturers update products. Where there is a material difference affecting your order, we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
Product availability may change without notice. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve stock.
4. Health and Product Information
Information on this website is provided for general product and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you have a medical condition, are taking medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are purchasing for a child, or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you.
Do not delay seeking medical advice because of information on this website. Always read the product label and follow the manufacturer or supplier instructions. If you experience an adverse reaction or a medical emergency, stop using the product where appropriate and seek professional medical help.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the items in your basket. You will normally receive an order acknowledgement by email. This acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A binding contract is formed when we confirm that the order has been accepted or dispatched, depending on the wording of the confirmation we send you. We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance if, for example, an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error, payment cannot be authorised, delivery restrictions apply or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
6. Prices, VAT and Promotions
Prices are shown in Pound Sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise. VAT will be included where applicable. Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be shown before you complete checkout.
We may change prices and promotions at any time, but changes will not normally affect an order already accepted. Discount codes, free delivery offers and other promotions may have separate conditions, expiry dates, minimum spends or product exclusions.
7. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be completed or dispatched. Your bank, card provider or payment service may apply its own terms, security checks or currency conversion charges.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not normally receive or store your full payment card number when a secure third-party payment gateway is used.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimated times are shown on the website or at checkout. We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimates provided, but these are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Under UK distance selling rules, goods should normally be delivered without undue delay and, unless another period has been agreed, within 30 days after the contract is made. Delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, industrial action or other matters outside our reasonable control may occur.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery or refusal to accept an order may be charged where permitted by law.
9. Cancellation and Returns
If you are a consumer buying online, you will normally have a legal right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receiving the goods. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods. These rights are subject to the exceptions set out in UK consumer law.
Where the law allows, the right to cancel may not apply to goods that are made to your specification, personalised, liable to deteriorate rapidly, or sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the correct return instructions.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect, you may be responsible for the cost of returning them. We may reduce a refund if handling has gone beyond what would reasonably be allowed when examining goods in a shop and this has reduced their value.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory rights are not affected. If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not meet your legal rights, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order details and, where helpful, photographs of the issue. We will explain the available remedy, which may include replacement, repair, price reduction or refund as required by law.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank. Where a consumer validly cancels an eligible online order, we will refund the amounts due within the time required by law.
12. Intellectual Property
Website text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, layout and other content owned by us or licensed to us are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the website for personal shopping and information purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, publish or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where the law allows.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms and policies may apply.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses suffered by a consumer using products for private purposes.
15. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy. Please read those documents for more information.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements. The version published on the website when you place an order will normally apply to that order.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have the benefit of mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
18. Contact Us
If you have a question about these terms, an order, return or refund, please contact us using the customer service details published on our Contact Us page.
